September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Before 2018, never crossed my mind that me and my child will be one day advocating for others. Advocating for a Cure. But here we are. In 2019 Sean became a part of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation Family and have been participating at the Ride for Kids Western PA event every year. Here’s his participation in this year’s event. The event raised over $47000 towards Brain Tumor Research and helping families. Sean came a long way since his two bout with pediatric brain cancer. Because of the funding for research there are constant evolving changes towards finding the cure. But that cure is still far from being reachable. Many children are still being diagnosed with childhood cancer everyday. According to World Health Organization Childhood cancer is still the leading cause of death for children and adolescents.
